Back in Welland
I got back to Welland around 11am yesterday. We left at 7:30am... the day was long.
Friday night I went out for coffee with Lauren. It was so nice to talk to and see her. We saw each other at the end of Christmas break, but it was very difficult that night to have a one-on-one conversation with anyone. I was so tired while we were out that I thought the large black coffee I drank may wake me up. I was wrong... until...
2am when I woke up. Not just woke up, but was wide awake and I didn't get back to sleep. I tried to nap yesterday when I got back and that didn't work either. Finally, I began to get tired around 8pm, just as the hockey games were begining.
By 8:30pm I was so tired that I needed bed. However, I'm crazy. The second game last night was Calgary and I really, really wanted to see it. I set my alarm for 10pm and went to bed. I woke up and watched the first period and a half of the game and then was very tired again. I knew I wanted to see the end, so I set my alarm for midnight. Like I said, I'm crazy.
Today I woke up at 9am and just wasn't in a good mood. I'm still not. Perhaps sometime I'll divulge what's on my mind, but it would all just come out as one massive whine right now. Boo hoo! *rolls eyes at self*
Both my roommate and I brought around a month's worth of groceries back with us. We have an apartment sized fridge and each have one self in the cupboards. Things are packed. I don't know when I last saw this much food. It all fits, though, so that rocks. I forgot to bring my bread and english muffins from home, so I need to go to Avendale tomorrow to get those.
There's a grammar test tomorrow and I should study a bit. I don't really know what there is to study, but Rose has me freaked out... haha.
